Default Guldstrand signed Exoto die-casts

I have a pair of Exoto die-casts..... Grandsport 'prototype' signed by Dick Guldstrand. and the #10 Sunoco Grandsport signed.........

He was a wonderful friend...... ( funny as hell)...... I would part with them..... but for a price......

I can post pictures if you wish.
( If you notice my avatar, you will see one of his 1st Signature edition 50th 'Vettes..... I took a pic of it when it was in his driveway at his home)

Opps.... sorry.....

The cars are retired ( as per Exoto)... ... Oh, oh.... I have to run... I will continue this after work today...
I bought the cars because I admired Dick, and then we became good friends. ( I helped him move his shop to Burbank in 1999)
Sunoco #10 " Race Day Livery" is valued ( retired) at $1,493.00 & the '63 GS Coupe 'prototype' (retired) at $ 1,895.00.

So, add $1,000 to both.

I find this thread interesting as I own these Exoto diecast:

If those prices are near accurate I'm a happy camper as I paid $79 for the Humvee; $250 for the #50 Corvette Grand Sport; $289 for the Sauber-Mercedes; $225 for the Corvette Grand Sport; $190 for the Porsche 935 Turbo; $169 for the Porsche 934RSR. All were purchased new about 20 years ago.

Back in the '90's, I contacted Exoto Prez., Andy Keusseyan after looking for auto accessories and noticed the die cast line. The Grand Sport Coupe was new, and I wanted it, due to Dick Guldstrand driving it. I bought it and showed it to Dick. Dick fell in love with the die cast, but noticed the front sway bar was missing. ( Corvette installed the front bar on a 'high mount' or a 'low mount' location). The bar was missed on production so I gave Dick, Andy's phone number. So they collaborated on the future 'Vettes.

Force1, I also bought the Bush Hummer....... But the best Exoto I got was the Cobra Daytona #5 !! ( The #1 most historic Cobra driven by Bondurant & Gurney).. I hung out with Bob Bondurant ( & the driving school) for about 7 years, up in Sonoma Raceway. Then I moved to So Cal, and became friends with Dan Gurney. I had Dan sign the Cobra, then, just a few years ago I had Bob sign it. Later, Bob sends me this cool photo he autographed of his Cobra at Le Mans !
To my astonishment, This Cobra was also sold by Exoto with all 3 guys... Bob, Don & Carrol Shelby signing the car, and it's retired at $8,000 !!!

I have the 2 signatures......
