1958-1959 Corvette Go Kart Original and Rare Exc. Cond.
This go-kart was sold by Sears in 1959 as a 1958 toy Corvette driveway car. It was manufactured by Pro-Mo Sales Company, Jackson, MI. The chassis and Body have been completely restored and comes with an original 4 cycle Clinton Engine. The only Information I have found is at http://www.solidaxle.org/frames/photos/gokart.htm I also have an October 1997 VETTE magazine article about them which states "Offered from 1958-1961, about 1,000 of the mini vettes were manufactured" This is an original not a reproduction Manco.
