Default 2002 Corvette Z06, 26k miles-$25500

2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06
26000 miles
Clean Title, no wrecks
$24500

I am sad to say that I have decided to sell my C5Z. Earlier this year I set out to find my first Corvette, and I wanted to get the cleanest, low mile car that I could afford since this has always been a dream car for me. Since I bought it, this car has been everything that I wanted and more. However, my wife and I have changed mindsets, and we are now trying to get debt free in preparation to start a family. Unfortunately, that means getting rid of the Z06 for now.

Some history on the car…I am the third owner. The second owner was a 76 year old man from Ohio who owned the car since 2007. Him and his son put all the engine mods on the car about 4k miles before I got it. The first owner was also a retired man from Ohio, and he left the car bone stock while he had it. It has always been garaged, and it only saw rain twice while the previous owner was on the Hotrod Power Tour. The car never saw snow or salt. I flew up to Ohio and drove the car back to Alabama with no issues whatsoever in February 2016. I bought the car with just under 23k miles, and it now has a little over 26k miles.

Full disclosure, I have done 2 days at Barber Motorsports with the car and 1 track day at Talladega Gran Prix since I’ve owned it. The rest of the miles are all just commuting to work and cruising around on the weekends. I used a dedicated set of track pads and rotors for the track days (which can come with the car), so the street brakes are still near 100% life. I also made sure to put fresh Amsoil fluids in for both days. The car ran flawlessly, and has no issues. If you are looking for a car that is a great dual purpose track/street car, this is a perfect option. It has great street manners and is reliable, but it also has a few things that are nice to have on a track or autocross (seats, harnesses, etc).
Before I bought the car, it had never been to a track at all, drag strip or road course.

The track brake setup is still on the car in all the pictures. I have the street drilled/slotted rotors and pads in like new condition. I just haven't had time to put them back on the car just yet. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

The Bad:
Missing front two wheel centercaps (popped out at track)
Few rocks chips on front bumper and around rear brake ducts
Front tires have some rough spots on them where they got hot on the rough surface at Talladega Gran Prix. However, they still have plenty of tread left for street driving (or even a couple more track days)

The car handles great, makes good power, sounds great, and it turns heads wherever it goes. Interior is 9 out of 10 (couple nicks on radio surround), engine bay is like new, and exterior is a 9 out of 10 (some rock chips on the front bumper and around rear brake ducts). If you are looking for a clean, low mile car with some good quality mods and a lot of documentation then this car is hard to beat. All mods have ~7k miles or less on them.

No trades please. The car does currently have lien through Honda Federal Credit Union, so any purchase will have to go through them. I can be reached at 205-405-0667 or on here. My name is David. Thanks

Free bump for what looks like a NICE little build. ... I never seem to have that extra 25k when I'd like it. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks. I actually came over and talked to you when you were there back in April. I had just bought this car, and I was getting it ready for my first track day.

For Barber's, I cleaned out the radiator and condenser, and despite 90+ temps I only had to slow down once for my oil getting over 290 (just for peace of mind). Most of that was probably due to traffic in the novice class, but it still seemed to have helped. Thanks for the tips.
