Chevy small block engine
For Sale: Engine from my 1985 track car. 414 CI stroker small block Chevy engine. Built by TPiS in 2007 then freshened up in 2014 by TPiS. 8 to 10 hours of track time since refresh. Built for track use and to rev reliably to 7000rpm with top line parts:
GM Sportsman Bowtie block, 4.125" bore, 4 bolt mains, including front and rear mains, middle 3 caps have splayed outer bolts, steel caps.
Callie's crank, 3.875" stroke.
Manley H beam rods.
Diamond forged pistons.
Dart Pro1 CNC cylinder heads, 227cc intake runners, SS valves, bronze guides.
Custom solid roller TPiS cam, .578" lift, 278 duration, 112 lobe separation.
Jessel Comp Series shaft rockers.
Set up with TPiS mini ram intake and GM HEI for tuned port induction with a mono blade throttle body. 11 to 1 compression ratio, dyno'd on 91 octane.
Engine dyno'd 578hp at 6300rpm, 511lb-ft at 5500rpm, see engine dyno chart below.
Includes Holley 950 Comander ECU and wiring harness and software to tune.

If you haven't also put this listing in the C4 and C3 sections, it would be worth doing. This looks like a great option for those not wanting to mess with an LS swap. Look how flat that torque curve is! If I were looking to start a CAM-S C4 or a track car, I'd jump on this. Looks like a great turn-key solution.
