Default Torvec IsoTorque

***SOLD***

Now that I have the OSG in my car, I'm listing the Torvec I had in it for sale. There is nothing wrong with the diff, I have just decided to use a diff that is more readily available to help my customers. I also think the Torvec is more suited to high speed road courses rather than autocrosses and other low speed events.

Used for three autocross seasons. It has well under 1000 miles on it including the several hundred of break-in I did. I bought the diff new from Joe at Phoenix Performance and they did the install as well. John Heinricy has won several Runoffs Championships with this diff as have a few other GM drivers.

I've listed the Torvec on the Borg Motorsports site with lots of pictures. Asking $950 shipped ***price drop 2/5/17***. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

C5 and C6. It does require different ring gear bolts, but those are included (longer because the flange on the diff is bigger than stock). The C6 may need a spacer depending on the configuration. If you let me know what diff case you have, I can confirm with Phoenix if anything is need to make it work properly.

Still working on it. I've had the question into Phoenix since you clarified the case, but I haven't been able to get an answer from them. Just wanted to share the update. Hopefully I'll have something soon.

My guess is that at worst, it requires the same sort of spacer as the OSG, which I have the C6Z spacer for. Assuming it doesn't need a different thickness spacer, I'd be happy to send you that.

Are these those diffs that are like a helical but 'different' (I just sounded stupid)... as they are not clutch disc based. If I recall reading they cut seconds off lap times with a simple diff change... but these are no longer produced or purchasable right? If it's the same thing I was looking up a few months ago... they seemed to be all the rage then vanished.

I think Torvec stopped production, but Phoenix Racing may still have some (that's where I bought mine).

Yes, they are a Torsen style (gear, helical) diff. There's nothing really different about this version a Torsen T2R, just that it is tuned with a different bias ratio.
