I'm glad to see an opportunity to talk with a Chev rep. My wife is ready to trade her Subaru wagon for a Pathfinder and I'm trying to talk her into a new Blazer. We were ready to take the plunge when we discovered the Blazers and GMCs simply do not come with manual transmissions - period. No special orders; local dealer not even willing to install one at our expense. Do our friends over at rising sun offer manuals for baby SUVs - oh yea. Did I get tired of sales personnel making me feel dumb for wanting a manual? Yes. If someone at Chevrolet is reading this, how can you be sure there's no demand if you don't offer the option? Why not void the driveline clutch warrantee if trailering is done? Is that's the issue? Automatics are boring and they limit contol of the car. Chevrolet has always added that little extra to make driving fun, don't stop now. Thanks for reading.
