Dear GM:

I know I am not the only C5 Coupe owner traumatized by a roof panel flying off his car nor will I be the last but I feel something must be done.

Currently the DIC notifies us if our door is left ajar or our hatch is left ajar. Does it not make sense to add a sensor notifying the driver that the roof is not latched down when it is in place? I don't think this would be a very difficult or even expensive addition to future Corvettes and could save countless owners from going through this same terrible experience.

This could also be added to the Convertibles as well.

Please think about adding this feature, those who will follow will appreciate it.
