Default advice please re rim size for track use

I'm thinking of purchasing the Michelin Sport Cup for use on the track on my C6.

The (spare set of) OEM wheels are 18x8.5 and 19x10.

The recommended rim size for the 305/30R19 is 10.5-11.5 so I'm 0.5 inches shy.

For the 265/35R18 is 9-10.5 and the rims are also 0.5 inches too small.

Will this cause a problem on track days or must I get a larger size set of after market rims?

I think those tires will fit those rims fine, although that is no guarantee. You tire shot a "cus" you, but who cares!

Anyone any experience running slightly smaller rim width with Sport Cups?
