Official Launch of New Pfadt Sway Bars
Pfadt Racing is proud to finally announce the launch of our new Sway Bar Kit! Rather than rest on our heels with the success of our current sway bars, Pfadt Racing raised the bar for quality and functionality in Corvette sway bars.
We've incorporated more race-tested features to improve durability and ease of adjustment. We still offer both our Street and Competition "Pfatty" packages to serve the street enthusiast and the racer. The rates have been adjusted slightly based on feedback and testing.
Here is a summary of the important changes:
1. Arms are now machined from billet Aluminum and are both lighter and stronger. They will be anodized orange (in spite of the following pictures)
2. Spline is now cut into the bars.
3. Arm spline is cut at an angle to eliminate the bend process.
4. End link kit is completely designed in house and all made in the USA.
5. Front and rear arms each have one additional adjustment hole.
The price on the kit is $1025 for the Pfatty Competition bars and $845 for the Street bars.
We have shipped the first few sets and have a large batch ready for shipping next week.
People are always interested in the weight of parts. The Pfatty Bars are very light. The rear bar weighs only 6.5 lbs including arms and endlinks. Even the front bar which is a whopping 38mm bar with 6mm thick wall weighs only 13lbs including arms and endlinks.
One question I get asked very frequently is how the rates compare. So here is a graph I put together showing how our bars compare to common GM offerings. It also is a graphic illustration of the range of adjustment. The numbers represent a relative rate and are all calculated by me using the same assumptions.
Here is a shot of the new endlink design for the Pfatty bars. They are ultra-light and strong. They feature custom US made teflon lined endlinks with high articulation and have a turnbuckle style adjuster for removing preload without having to disconnect them.
Here is a shot of the new spline that we are cutting into the tube stock. It eliminates the weld plus it looks pretty sexy.
Here is the mating spline that is cut into the arms.
An overview of the Pfatty set with all the associated bits. Shown with optional pillow blocks.
And another with a closer view of the arms and endlinks.
If you have any questions, feel free to post away or call.
later,
Aaron

They work with the stock exhaust, even on a Z06 like your car. In fact, I think our Street kit is a great first upgrade. The ride quality will be similar to stock, but the car will corner flatter and be much more crisp.
Give a call if you would like to discuss any specifics.
