Default Recommended Pressures for A3S05s

ive got a set of the a5s 305/30r18, 335/30r18 that i just started autocrossing with. unknowingly i ran with pressures similar to v710s and a6s and was pretty disappointed at the time until i found out that they need to run at much higher pressures. anyone have target pressures to be shooting for? the car is stock except for upgraded suspension (lg coils and t1 bars) and weighs 3530 race prepped. tia.

I only ran them for a year (long ago) and don't remember my numbers off the top of my head, but they are significantly higher than the Kumhos or the new A/R 6s. As I recall, your hot pressures should be in the low-mid 40s. They are pretty sensitive to pressure changes too.

yeah low to mid 40s seems to be the only guidance ive found however thats 10psi more than i was running so maybe thatll fix some of the handling issues. maybe the guys at tirerack will have some old data to give me...

Do some back to back runs if you can and look at the lap times. Start with them up high and then drop them 5 psi and look at the results. We did that at Road Atlanta back in 04 I think (when i ran the S04s), and it made about 1 to 1.5 seconds per lap difference.

I had some RS304s and my goal was 40-42 hot.
