Already sold- bidding closed at 42000 Pounds. $83697.77 at todays exchange. Guess they are expecting Lewis to be a future F1 god.- McLaren does.

Wow! ~$80K US for a cart! The track lessons would be worth a bunch, though! Wonder if that cart will ever see a track again?

Hamilton has sure made a bunch of jaws drop this year; hope he can keep it up!

Have a good one,
Mike

He'll be fine.

There's no record of him ever running in Solo I/II. If he doesn't have
time for the kart, now, then there's little fear he'll be tempted to dull
his superior roadracing instincts by participating in AutoX or HPDE.

Consequently, his future is assured.

It will be worth a heck of lot more if Hamilton turns out to be as great as everyone now thinks that he'll be.

I'm stuck with a bunch of autographed stuff from JPM back from his CART days. I thought that it would be worth a lot more by now.

Get him connected with Earhardt Jr. and it will!

Assuming LH continues to do as well as he's done so far (or dips down a bit), I think that cart is going to be hermetically sealed for future bidding.

On the JPM front, it's going to be fun watching this weekend!

Have a good one,
Mike

Speaking of JPM and Hamilton -> Interesting take from his perspective.

Thank you! I've been wanting JPM's thoughts on how Hamilton and McLaren have been doing this year.

I can't wait for the Sears Point race this weekend. It should be fun watching JPM mix it up with the Cup boys on a road course.

If I could purchase Hamilton's cart, I'd take a lesson from him, drive it a few times and put it away for safe keeping. It might be worth a bundle some day. I could buy another cart like it to have fun with and not have to worry about wrecking Hamilton's cart.

Yep. Photo the damage (scrape?) with a smiling Lewis in the pic....it's authenticated.

Has anyone seen Stewart push or lean on JPM since their initial altercation?

I think I would prefer the prang left unrepaired.

At the rate Hamilton is going (think of Montreal), his damaged
hardware may be more rare and collectible than his intact stuff.

That's true. If you keep it in its original crash (by Lewis) damaged condition, it will probably be worth more.

Not only McLaren, whole Europe has found a new Schumi....
now if he could change team

Two wins, and all race finished on podium, i guess we have a guy that can break all records....

There will always be a new king........
