Detroit Grand Prix Corvette Corral Tickets Now on Sale
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Corvette Corral tickets to the Detroit Grand Prix are now available for sale at the Detroit Grand Prix web site - http://www.detroitgp.com/content.asp?cpid=5845&
The Corvette Corral is limited to 300 Corvettes.
Vehicle traffic onto Belle Isle is severely restricted. Regular Grand Prix spectators will have to park off the island and take shuttle buses to the race.
Watch this Forum early in August for information on the Corvette Cruise that will take the Corral participants onto Belle Isle early on Saturday morning for the American LeMans Series race.

Is it true there will be no "Free Friday" this year?
Will there be room for trailers? My car isn't registered for the street.

So far we have been told that there will not be a free Friday for individuals wanting to park in the Corvette Corral.
Also, Only fully-licensed Corvettes will be permitted in the Corral. There will not be any trailers permitted.

So if you bring a guest/spouse in the same Corvette, is it the same price for them as well, even though they are not taking another parking spot etc.? Or should we just bring one Corvette per person?

The Corvette Corral is the only car corral on the island. The Porsche, Ferrari, Ford GT, Acura, Honda, and Audio owners will have to park in lots off the island and take a shuttle bus.

Is there a Corvette Coral on Friday?
I just read on the DGP website that Friday will be "free prix day".

There is a Corvette Corral on Friday. If you purchase a two day ticket - Friday and Saturday you can park in the Corvette Corral on both Friday and Saturday.
If you do not purchase a two day ticket, you can purchase a separate one day ticket for the track entry, but you will not be allowed to drive onto the island. You will have to park off the island and take a shuttle onto the island.

The Detroit Grand Prix Authority has structured the tickets sales for the Corvette Corral so that you cannot buy a separate ticket for Friday. They have bundled the Friday Corvette Corral participation with buying a ticket for both Friday and Saturday.
The only Corvette Parade laps will be on Saturday.

That essentially forces you to pay $75 for "Free" day.
Thanks for the info.
