Default Any road courses near Massachusetts?

Are there any tracks in or around Massachusetts that allow the public to use the course?

I know drags have open nights to the public, I would be great if there was a track that would do the same.

I am not interested in driving around cones at an abondon air strip.

Thanks

What you are looking for is called and OPEN track day.

with that being said, most events on Road Race courses are held by Car clubs, of which you sign up for.

Any Open track events are few and far between do to liability issues.

List of Driving events or HPDEs are in a sticky above.

To find a track http://www.trackpedia.com is a good place to start.

that said:

Lime Park is in Conn
New Hampshire International race way.
Pocono Motor Speedway - eastern PA
Watkins Glen - central southern NY

Yeah. Lime Rock in CT and Watkins Glen in the NY popped into my head. Don't know how far you are from there.

I believe NHIS has open track time. Check with Gary Hoffman.

For actual structured track days in the northeast... there's only one choice. www.comscc.com

Look on motorsportsreg.com for events in the general northeast area.

NHIS is very close and first class. I have been a member of COMSCC for 17 years, and it is very good, but I have been running mostly with SCDA (www.scda1.com ) these days. We just had an event last Thursday at NHIS and it was a very good event. SCDA runs a very tight ship and you will get alot of track time and instruction. Since I am semi-local (Bedford, NH) feel free to call with any questions.

I will be there as well instructing. Are you driving up or trailering? If this your first time, you will have a blast!

I will be driving up and hopefully driving it back.

This is my first time. Maybe you will be my instructor when it comes to track time.
