Default You killed Kenny!

A local autocross club has a great way of raising money to replace cones

Amongst the sea of cones there's four 'Kenny cones'

If you kill Kenny you own the club $2.

Any other clubs doing this?

Great idea for raising money but I have to ask, are novices exempt? I often have a hard time getting them close to the cones, especially on the right side of the car. This could discourage them a bit. For the experienced guys, I think its great. I'd be out $2 at least every event.

They do it at the renegade Miata club in Ma. - Very similar rule, you pay when you hit Kenny, you don't have to destroy the cone liike that to pay the penalty.
Since you move around so much Brian, I can't guess where local is to you anymore

That's the club
Someone post a pic of the cone on the NER SCCA Solo mailing list.

Makes me long for home
Don't worry, as Arnold said "I'll be back"

Haha that is cool

We have a guy in a miata in our group that is highly modified, and he has cones painted in various states of disaray on the body, which is quite accurate as he hits a cone on average 9 out of 10 times (between 2 drivers) per session He would be like a southpark episode on the track, killing kenny every run!
