When Nuvolari posted his car for sale, he was quite clear about
not wanting to be approached:
F/S Corvette Lightweight GT Racecar
.

"Furthermore. I am not a Corvette part source.
So please do not ask if I have anything."
Carbonio? Wonder what line of business the sponsor is in ... ?So please do not ask if I have anything."

I was too brief in my post above.
Nuvolari wanted to sell the whole car intact, along with related spares
and in addition to the usual forum methods, he also provided a couple
of additional methods of communication. However, he indicated that
he was not interested in other variations on a sale.
The full quote is as follows
the vendor was accustomed to this and was just trying to politely let
folks know up front that it was a package sale, all-or-nothing, to save
time for all parties.

Please note that I am not interested in partial or full trades nor am I
interested in selling any part off of the car. Furthermore I am not a

The guy that owns the car now is Rich Wilson. (I've only met him once) He runs ST2 w/ the NASA Great Lakes Region. I should see him at the July Mid Ohio event. If you can't track him down before then I will try and get some info.

Since one of the contact methods regarding the car was a
'xxx@Carbonio' email address and Carbonio was a prominent sponsor,
I had concluded that the CF parts were sourced from Carbonio, possibly
through someone associated with both the car and the company who
built them on his own time or as an in-house, one-off project.
for european vehicles.
However, their catalogue still does not include parts for C4's.

THANKS for all the info - I have contacted Bob Finlayson and will probably go with his nose and splitter.
I was interested in the air dam shown above because it looks like it will work w/ my stock nose.
THANKS again

With the comments about ground clearance, perhaps one approach
is to scout out how others have adapted these front end pieces in
order to make them secure, yet easily removable.
With a little ingenuity and extra effort while preparing for installation,
when you are done you may find yourself in the eviable position of
being able to pop a few pip pins and then load/unload with little effort
or concern about damaging the splitter.
