Default Will Z06 Rear Wheel Fit On Front - C5

Has anyone tried a rear 18 x 10.5 Z06 wheel with a 315/35/18 tire on the front of their C5? Will it fit without spacers or fender modifications/rubbing?

I am considering a square 315/35/18 setup for ASP in auto-x and wanted to know if there are any problems or feedback?

Thanks

I've run 305/35/18 RA-1 on a rear 18x10.5 on the front of my 01 Z06 - no problems at autox or track. Personally I would run the 315/35/17 though instead of the 18" setup. Cheaper, shorter, more common, etc.

I received a killer deal on a set of 4 315/35/18 V710's and have two sets of Z06 wheels so I was considering going to the 315/35/18 square on the front. I do have a set of 4 17 x 11 ZR1 replicas that I could run 315/35/17's on but not sure which would ultimately be better.

Any feedback anyone has would be great!

Thanks

I haven't done the Tour/Nats/Pro Solo in a few years but last I knew all the fast guys were running 315/17 front with 335/17 rears.

i have run 18 x 10.5 in the front of my 02 Z-06 with 315 x 35x 18 v710s. It works quite well. You need to run 4-6 lbs more air in the front tires than the rears to keep the car neutral, though. Good luck

I run the rears with 305's up front. At full lock, you'll probably experience slight rub, but that shouldn't happen much on the track.

My combo is similar, but 18" tire/wheels - 315 front and 335 rear.

Any trouble with the 315's rubbing in the front? I know they are about an inch taller than the 315/35/17's.

Any upsides/downsides to your combo?

Thanks

This combo has proven to be excellent on the track since CCW had the correct offset to ensure no rubbing. However, I wouldn't use this setup on the street/daily driving because there is 'some' limit in left and right travel - no impact on the track, some limits on the street if you need to make a tight turn. I run 275 front and 315 rear for the street. Mike

I've been running 18x10.5 speedlines with 315 Kumhos all around. Depending on how low your car is, the tire may scrub ever-so-slightly on the outside edge, but not enough to hurt the tire or fender. I find it a great combo.

Ran that exact setup on my C5. Pic attached below. Worked well for me. Use the exact same setup on my C6 now.
