Wish I was there!

Awesome! I was hoping to make it out myself but couldn't ....

Say hi to Dean Conti (KentZ06) for me, and tell him to post up his impressions also!

Went over to talk to the driver of the other Z but he was not by the car at the time

Yes, if he was able to get his car there it is a silver Z. I think it has a vented hood, and should have Hoosiers. He is from Seattle, so it should have his Washington plate. Have fun dicing with him.

Hi Everett!

Wish you were here!

It was a long 14 hour drive but it has been worth it! This Miller Motorsport Park is an amazing facility. The outer loop is around 3.5 miles with a best personal lap of 2:06.6. Trying to keep the the RPMs down on the new engine by short shifting. So far the ARE oil pan and the Lingenfelter dry sump tank are keeping the oil pressure and temperature under control. The car now carries 13 quarts of oil.

Tomorrow we run the full course, around 4.2 miles, with ten new corners so it will be like learning another new track.

This is a big, fast track and eats HP. Will need to get Mike and the Beast out here! I am pitted with Rudy (AZFASTEST) and others in the Pfadt garage. This is a world class facility!

Shannon and I have been having lots of fun! My car is indeed silver with vented hood, number 72. Best laps in the morning when cool. By 3:30 PM it was 92f air temp and 140f track surface. Still a lot of fun, just a little more drifting!

It is midnight so I need to stop posting while watching Le Mans and get some sleep for the Time Trials 2 tomorrow. Open passing is fun!

You mean this guy?

Thanks to Aaron Pfadt, Robin, and all his team for their support and for arranging garage space for us at Miller Motorsports Park!!!

A large contingent of the Arizona Corvette Racers dominated the track in NASA Time Trials to the extent that they gave us our own Corvette run group tomorrow on the full 4 plus mile track!!

Some of the Arizona Corvette Racers group!.....

Looks like a great event, a great group, and a great track! Great to hear from you Dean - wish I could have made it. Hope you get some good pics, and your car is looking great.

The Beast has to come out West sometime for sure. Mike, how 'bout it?
And Jason, and all the rest of the Katech guys.

Have fun guys and keep us in the loop.

OH, and by the way Dean - I just realized the significance of your number 72..... !!!!!!!!!!

Guess mine should be 73 eh?

I have a 3:12 full track (4.5 miles) lap ready to upload but YouTube seems to be down for scheduled service. Anyone know another site to upload to? Perhaps something with higher resolution as the video is high quality...

3:12... That's basically as fast as the GSC Motorsports Supra from last year's One Lap of America.

Here's another one I took of the outside course with a little Madonna/Justin Timberlake soundtrack (CD player in the car)

Track + facility = WOW!!!

4.5 miles and 23 corners:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdVY2LgIY1Y

Miller even had staff doing cleaning and maintainance on Sunday! First class!

My top speed probably didn't even hit 150 since I was "trying" to stay out of the throttle while "breaking in" the new engine (which holds 13 quarts of oil).

The Mosler would love this track! Can you say "Katech Attack West"???

I got to 150 on the straight and braked at the 3. I'm sure Darryl, Shannon, Wayne and John Bianchi probably got closer to 160.
