Making a C5 FRC into a T1 racer
Rollcage, racing seat, harnesses, window net, T1 suspension kit, upgraded radiator, more wheels, race tires/brake setup, no cats, and eventually install the 405hp motor. Trans cooler? Stickers and numbers? Am I missing anything?

everything is at http://www.scca.org/home.aspx
someplace.
Most of the mods are safety related. Shocks are the big expense, if you get the adjustable ones. Tires, of course. Wheels have to be stock sizes, but you can use light weight racing wheels, so you can spend as much as you like there. It'll be tuned to run on race fuel, too.

You live in Sterling Va? If so you are more than welcome to swing by my house one evening and check out the car, chat about everything, as I live in Manassas. You are going to get a hundred different answers on the board, some of which are incorrect. It would simply be easier to show you the car and go over it one thing at a time face to face. Let me know!

I'd add an Accusump and removable steering wheel to the list. Yep, a transmission cooler is highly recommended.
Take a pen and paper with you and go visit Joe - no better way to see what you need besides looking at a Nationally competitive car!

andrej,
Honestly its cheaper to buy a car like I did. Although, for the right price mine could be fore sale
but one word of caution, the LS1 is NOT competitive in t1, at all.. end of story. hell, after the absolute shutout at nationals last year, the ls6 is not the motor of choice either.
I'll see you on the 11th!
