Whose LS7-style heads did you go with on the Warhawk - looks like an LS7 intake to me?

Cam specs?

Tom,

The car is looking great! All the hardware you have chosen shows how serious this thing is going to be.

You will not be bored anytime soon. 1 year to build and a lifetime to master.

Your car is a Monster!

You can look forward to a car that is capable of GT1, lead lap, lap times
The rest is up to the driver. That's the hard part.

Thanks for all your help on this one! It's all your fault you sadistic bastard!

Can't wait to get it out and play when mine is finally read.

PS. I had a chance to ride in the "Beast" this week. It's an amazing piece of technology. What surprised the heck out of me was how f__ing fast we were going and how smoothly the car performed and stable ride was. We were going Mach 2, but I never felt the car was unsettled or would come "unglued". Combination of a great driver and kick butt car. Thanks for the op bud!!!!!

Is there any way you can do me a favor and take a picture of how you mounted the pump and FAST cooler in the car? Looks like you have a metal plate that you mounted the cooler to, did you cut out what was below that?

I'm thinking about doing the exact same thing, for my tranny cooler and suit cooler. Also, where did you put the cooler part of the tranny/fidd cooler?

Thats an amazing car and i cannot wait to see the entire thing complete!
Thanks

I will try to grab a pic of the set up, next time I'm down at the shop (where the car is being built) and get back to you on the install of the FAST cooler. Below is a pic of the tranny and diff cooler install. They are located on either side of the rear.

Thanks. I had a ton of fun RR my existing grey C5, but frankly can't wait to retire that to street duty and start running this bad boy!

Does someone make those a-arm monoballs off the shelf for us to buy?

Was that an air jack I saw in one of the pics of your rear end?

Does a solid toe link do much for preventing or controling toe changes over the suspension travel?

You have the first vette cage I have seen with proper bracing of the nascar bars to the frame sill. Good job!

Randy,

The Vise-Grip couldn't go only smaller, the red wire holds the tool in place!

Yes those are air jacks. The beefed up toe link is to help handle the additional stress on the back end. Thanks for the thumbs up on the cage.

The red wire is connected to the "ejector seat". Opps, that was supposed to be top secret.

Just a thought to share: My trans and diff coolers are mounted 'inside' of the ZO6 vents in front of the rear wheels. I don't have any pictures to share, but those vents weren't offering any cooling to the rear brakes anyway, and it was a very efficient location.

Tom,

The project looks really great. I can only imagine how anxious you are to get your BEAST on-track! My FRC is finally back from the shop . . . only 7-weeks of waiting in comparison to your project, but it seemed like an entire season passed me by.

Finally I'll have another C5 at Autobahn to play with. Unfortunately, you'll be lapping me every 10-minutes and we'll only be able to play for a few turns . . .

Congrats on going to Spring Mountain. I did the course a couple of seasons ago. Boy was that an expensive mistake! Those SOBs got me involved in road racing! Sorry, bud, I think your about to catch the bug big time. But seriously, I really enjoyed their course. Great bunch of people.

I was out at the Autobahn Garage yesterday and saw your “bad boy” parked across the aisle where it belongs! Welcome back!!

Can’t wait to get out and play with you guys with the new ride, although with my “very green” driving skills, I won’t be lapping you anytime soon. PS. I put on some Hoozer R6s on the Grey vette yesterday. What I difference over the Pilot Sport Cups. Kick butt!

We almost went with that also. Smart idea.
