I have a noise coming from the rear of my C5Z. Varkswo and Team England think that it is either the differential or a half shaft. I am hoping that some of you might have some diagnostic tips on locating the thumping.

This noise does not effect the way the car drives. It is RMP related. There is no vibration connected to the noise. It is somewhat loud. It does not get louder with an increase in speed.

Any thoughts on the subject would be helpful.
