Kirkey 47700 what are the slits for?
I recently bought a Kirkey 47700 Intermediate Road Race seat. My previous seat was a Kirkey 36600. The Intermediate seat differs from the other in that in addition to the hole for the anti submarine belt, there are two additional slits in the cover and seat. I can't figure it out because they are under your butt and are uncomfortable.
Does anyone know the purpose of these slits?

Yea, that makes sense. I had to see it to understand it. They seemed to be to far to the rear to be used for belts. But if you want to be in tight I guess it that's where they should be.
