My neighbor owns the local Dodge dealership. He has had 2 Challengers, one orange and this one. He pulled into my driveway this afternoon in it. It is drop dead gorgeous (and sounds even better). The orange one doesn't hold a candle to it. They're all sold (at a significant premium) before he ever gets them:

hmmm...doesn't do it for me, more "old" than "retro", especially with a set of steel wheels and a chrome bumper.

Oh come on.......40k in engine, suspension and aero mods and you'd have Glen Bunch's 572 ci Hemi Challenger ( don't let the window banner fool you ) driven by IMSA champion fast Phil Currin in SVRA......Sweet
It's all personal taste but I like the "retro's".....go figure.

Nicely done! Way better than the new Chargers
BTW I used to own a 1970 Challenger RT/SE with a 383.
Loved that old car, to this day I regret the day I sold it.
I'm thinking that the reason I keep hanging on to my Vette.

I just saw one at my local cruise in tonight. I like it, the one thing I noticed was that the rear tires should be wider. I think they are 255/45-20

Way overpriced, just wait a few months. Those cars will look so cool with an aftermarket suspension package and wider wheels. Lower it down with a little rake for the old school muscle look .

Sweet car! Thanks for sharing Jody! Melissa and I saw a silver w/black stripes Challenger on the road the other day. VERY distinctive and a great looking ride, we both liked the pics in the magazines, but it's much better in person!
I dig the retro feel when done as well as this. The new "Charger" made me ashamed - I own a '70 Charger and there are zero similarities between the two. This seems much more faithful to the original.
Can't wait to see the Camaro!!!
