Default Sparco Steel seat

Has anyone heard anything about the new Sparco seat? It's called Steel?

Looks Like a good fit in a Vette and under $300

I was very close to getting those but the Corbeau A4 is lighter, costs less, and can be shaved for more headroom. I was also a little leary of buying a brand new design.

It is called the Sprint, and it is made with steel tubing. Yes it fits in a vette, as I have one in my C6Z. It is a great seat. I had Sparco Roadsters in my previous car and the were flimsy fiber glass and did not like to much pressure in one area. I am a 33 waist and had plenty of room on both sides.

It is not that heavy, in fact it is still much lighter than the factory seat with all the mounting hardware included.

I prefer this one over the fiberglass Sparco's and the fact that it is cheaper is a bonus.

So yes it fits just fine and I would say anyone up to a 36 waist should be fine.

Jersey ... what about the mounting? And can one retain the stock three-points?
I'm wanting to put seats in, but want the option of leaving them in for street use.
TIA!

I sat in 95Jersey's seat and I'm a 35" waist. For just track events it would be fine, but for combo track/street driving (if you aren't going to swap it out) I'd get the next size up for comfort.
