Cant make lightening on the 8th, but will make Thunderbolt later this year.
People wondering - TT4Cars is a good group. Since they run bike and car groups you get to see how your car compares to a bike at the same track. You also get to walk around and check out some of the bikes which some are wild and I am sure extremely fast. TT4Cars is well organized, safe and you get in a bunch of track sessions.
I took a friend of mine that rides bikes out at Pocono to show him what the vette feels like. He was really impressed on how fast and smooth the vette could take the turns. It was funny to see him squeeze the door handle thinking it was a hand brake though

Thanks for the kind words Bob!
ha ha ha!! You made BFaz a little nervous, huh? That's great! I love it! It's hilarious to watch advance bike riders get out of the car, grab their stomach and say, "ugh. I don't feel so gooood."

I also ran with T.T.4.C, and found the sesions to be on time, well organized(3 loud calls to track out) and safe. The flaggers were quick to spot a problem and give you time to react.

Seriously, thanks George. So are you coming out on the 9th?
Also, in other breaking news....we've decided to extend the discounted price of $245 for another week or so. If you want to come, let me know and sign up.
Thanks,
Michelle

looks like I might make this one after all. I want to know the track before the ECS day the following week and TT4Cars will give me plenty of track time to get a good grasp on it.
Who else has a free day they want to sped on the track?

I wish I could go, but it's getting difficult to take so many single days off from work. I need to apply where Bob works! My boss can't figure out what all the mid week days off are
I just got back from a 3 day weekend at Thunderbolt and I am burnt out and so is the car. I finally cracked both front rotors and spent insane time in the pits changing rotors. I had to get 2 new tires and I now have a vibration in my brakes.
If we ever want to solve the war on terror, I have the answer, just make the terrorists change C6Z06 brake pads and rotors all day long, they will be BEGGING for mercy
I will be at lighting on the 15th, then probably one more event, 2 if the stars allign, then the long cold horrible winter of waiting

you are on the list. I am looking for a number of 6 - 10 cars otherwise the event might not include cars. Roger said he would go too so we are up to 3 people. I am sending emails out to a few more so hopefully it will work out.

Talked to TT4Cars yesterday and they are having 1 bike group and 2 car groups.
This means that every hour you will have a 20 min session which will mean roughly 8 - 20 min sessions. This is almost double the track time for the same price as other organizations.
Last time with them at Pocono they did not over crowd the track. There was plenty of space to open your car up and run at your ability.

The Ligntning track is a blast, and NJMP is a first class facility in a very nice area. Millville, NJ is a nice town with lots of hotels, restuarants, and basically any logistics support you might need (I needed a trailer tire). The tracks have RV hookups, 3 grades of gas at the track, clean bathrooms (hello Lime Rock, are you listening?), paved paddocks. I love the elevation changes, and good grip, with lots of runoff in most places. Everyone needs to try this track, I had more fun there than I have had in a long time at the track.
