Looks good.
I would have rather heard the engine though.

That's really cool, especially since I rarely see onboards from auto-x events. Would love it it she had a version without the music that you could post.

Looks like you had good quick hands going, though! Never got crossed up, from what I can tell.

I'll see if she can upload the regular video for me and post it up tonight.

I think you should be turning earlier, on basically every element you are late. You are already past some of the cones before you are turning the wheel. In a slalom you should already be done turning way before you pass a cone and already starting to turn into the next one as you pass the previous one.

I'd like to hear an uneditted version too.

before the edit, same video.
also the car could have been faster, we were messing around with the suspension and put the stock front sway bar on and set the rear T1 bar full stiff. the front end stuck like glue but the rear had no traction and spun alot. the next race i'm going to make it full soft with the stock front bar.

Keep the big front bar and go back to the stock rear bar is what I'd do. Unless you have lots of other mods it's no fun being in ASP or SM2 if you don't have to be.

tried the stock rear and T1 front and it is on the suck side, tons of under steer.
the brake lines, headers and CAI kick me out of SS.

what i need more than anything is some shocks, these 78k mile 01' shocks are done. i'm picking up a set of C6Z shocks and want to do different springs for next year, if i keep the car.

You're definitely right about the shocks. I bought OTS Koni singles and they transformed the car.

Thanks for editing the vid. Man, I gotta do more autocross. I've only done a couple of pseudo-auto x sessions at Skip Barber and Ferrari HPDE stuff, but this vid reminds me how challenging it is.

Nicely done!

that was day 2, the first day we ran the other way. my rev limiter is 7000 rpm and i was bouncing off of it in second gear through the slalom. 1st gear is 52mph so second has to be 65ish. it was an awesome track.

day one, the go carts and the indy type cars killed me on day 2

What year and car are you driving? Tires? With 315/35-18 rear Kumho v710s I can do 71 in second gear, 47 in first. That's on an 02 z06. The gearing is about perfect for autocross in the c5 Z.

www.maxqdata.com

ps- actually I lied. Those max speeds are on my stock size street tires. Haven't had the opportunity to datalog an autocross run where I've hit the redline in first or second, but the speeds should be similar.
