Brake probs on C6, HP Plus not working? Help!
Sold race C5 with stock rotors and ran rock auto flat rotors with no problem.
Now racing street C6 Z-51 with HAwk HP plus and found Rock Auto only aftermarket supplier for Z51 size and they only come drilled. BUrning (?) up the rotors, at least glazing them with what appears to be overheating as they are reddish in color and are now making a slight crunching, or noisy weird sound when I drive the car back on the street. I've run one autocross and they seemed fine after that but went to Hallett this past weekend for HPDE and now they look like they need replacing? What gives? what's a better set up? Maybe Hawk HP's are to hard for drilled rotors? Who is making smooth rotors in Z 51 size??

Do a search, but your options seem to be buy the base C6 (aka C5) brake brackets and go back to the Rock Auto rotors, or get a bit spendy with VectorVette's 2pc rotors, maybe there are other 2pc options, too?
