Default Cobra race seat in a c5

Will a Cobra Imola GT (wide version) fit in a c5 z06? I plan on using the hardbar mounts.

Default

I had bought that very same seat and I could not get it to fit properly. The sides are not exactly parallel and the mouting points are just not very accurate. I used the hardbar rails. No matter what it was ****-eyed in the car and the rails just would not sit flat on the floor. The side lip could be trimmed down if you choose to go with the seat anyway so as to not be jammed against the center tunnel. I personally did everything I possibly could to make the seat work and still ended up returning it. Another thing to note is that seat is extremely flimsly. I chose a kirkey road race deluxe since I've used several kirkey's before and I knew it would work. Much happier.
