Default Track Day Cars

The December issue of Corvette Fever has an article I did about running your Corvette at track day events. It should be on the on the news stand very shortly. Subscribers already have their copies.

We never get to use all the photos so I thought I would share them with you here.

Track Day Photos

The last picture in the file is my white C4. It's the one with the red hash marks. I'm going to be running the short course at Sebring on November 9th. I'll need a new set of brake pads by the end of the day. The short course is just brutal on brakes. They never get a chance to cool off.

Are you listening Wilwood?

They won't be. Way it is. But I am, what are you asking??

If the article is to print and done what would be the purpose of tossing a set of pads your way for "promotional consideration" at this late date? I'm sympathetic to the cause but looking for support after the fact is a bit like asking for Halloween candy on November 1st. The value has to come from being assured the right parts are referenced in the article before hand.

I was just having fun. Nothing more.

Also, that was the only picture of the GT car. I'll get some more stuff at the next event on November 9th.

Read the article last week when the magazine got to the house. It's nice to see CF throw an article in like that.
