"Meanwhile, more than 700 people have been released from
NASCAR Sprint Cup teams since the season ended three weeks
ago, according to various news outlets, including 120 at Dale
Earnhardt Inc., which merged with Chip Ganassi Racing. In
response, former Lowe's Motor Speedway president Humpy Wheeler
has formed a task force involving Charlotte, N.C.-area government
agencies and educational facilities to help displaced workers find new
jobs."
I only know about the man anecdotally, but this report serves to
reinforce my opinion of Mr Wheeler as being someone of very
substantial character.
