Forgive me if this is a repost. Someone was talking about putting an electric powerplant into an Indy Car in another thread and when I saw this video, it made me think of it.
I wish that the auto companies would concentrate more on the performance aspect of electric powered cars. I think that it would attract a lot more people.

Electric cars are cool and don't need a transmission (maximum torque at zero RPM).
The only problem is that 1/4-mile-long extension cord...
