Default 335 back tires

Is it necessary to widen the wheel wells on a C5?
I intend to use wide tires for track and autocross only and don't mind if they protrude. The car has been lowered only minimally and is still within factory specification limits.
With a stiff set of sway bars such as T1 or Pfatty Bars will a protruding wheel rub against the fender in a turn? The springs are stock at this time.

mine rubs when loaded down or if I hit a bump pretty good...otherwise no...so IMO you would have issues on Auto X...how bad? I dunno...
