BB69 that thing looks like fun. Most guys would spend 5 years building. You got it done fast and got it out there, congrats!!!
Randy
Thanks Randy. I am still working on it; adding some sheetmetal; putting is a passenger seat; changing out master cylinders; and trying to get some paint on it. I will be out again with it in 1.5 weeks, hopefully, in the dry this time. I can't wait. I am taking my camcorder this time, so maybe we can start a video thread as well.
In the meantime, here is another pic taken at Grattan with my buddies behind me taking video:
certianly no overheating issues I would think with that
but hope a bird doesn't hit you in the head!
The first time out on track, I couldn't even get it above 150 degrees. Granted, it was wet out and the temp was about 50, but it wasn't even close to getting hot. I have since added an inline thermostat (it uses an electric pump). I think I went a little overkill on the radiator; it's 19x31x3. At least I shouldn't have to worry about.
The drag doesn't seem to be an issue in a 2000 lb car putting 300HP to the wheels.
