Hello from Advanced Composite Products (ACP)

Unfortunately for me neither Tony or Jerry ever drove my little piece of Corvette racing history so instead of it being the third of three Owens-Corning race cars it`s the third of three O-C "built" race cars....btw, it`s for sale if you know anyone interested in owning a little piece of Owens-Corning Corvette racing history and going 2:25.0 at Road America, available at a fraction of the $610K the `68 O-C "parts car" sold for. Here it is in 1971 racing in Germany with it`s Randy Wittene applied blue/white and purple psychedelic paint.
Randy is a genius at putting the right combinations together.
What is your asking price?

One of the other big positives that can come through running one of Kerry's vented hoods is much better control of the temps read by the IAT < intake air temperature > sensors.
In the GM computer control world, IAT's are a big dictator of potential engine performance as higher temp readings will result in richer AFR and timing being dialled out to avoid detonation.
Less lift from underhood air pressure build up, and cooler underhood temps... what's not to like?
I live in Florida, so, underhood temps can rocket up at every stop.
I have visually seen how the computer responds to high IAT's through watching a computer readout... and I've felt the real rollout of performance when the system responds to the high temp readings.
In some circumstances, not losing HP is a net gain.

Hello From ACP
Hi, there, Kerry! 'Bout time you came thru the Forum! Tell 'em about the carbon fiber roof and halo you got me a few weeks ago for the C6Z! Awesome work, as always! Kerry's the "go-to" guy when it comes to CF parts!

We are working to perfect our technique. It seems like you are always the one that helps us get to the next higher level....We love it!!!
I just finished our second one for a Patrick who also lives in New York.
He saw your car at Corvettes at Carlisle and had to have it on his car.
He called me to tell me that he took it to the shore last week and people all thought it was a ZR1...needless to say he was very happy.
I'll be posting some pictures of those along with the real pure carbon A pillar trim too.
Thanks again for all of your support, your car always looks great!

I'm going to be making special offers from time to time. Not sure exactly what they will be. Group buys are certainly an option.
Meanwhile, the best overall introductry offer I could think of for all forum members was to have free freight costs to anywhere in the continental United States for any orders made until the end of November....That could be a nice piece of change!
If you have a group who wants to do something special email me at kerry@acproducts.us we can talk.
Thanks,
Kerry

You mean that I've been doing this long enough that I am now talking to a second generation Corvette family.....I guess it is true that time does fly when you are having fun!
Do you still have the race car?
Thanks for sharing that with me and let me know if we can make something for your car.

As for my car, I hope I don't need any help from you in the near future!! That would mean bad things had happened!!!

Kerry Hitt, Holy Crap, I thought you were an urban legend! I tried to get you for a very long time, and wanted that Z11 body kit,but went another way when I couldn't get to you. But I do still want that CF Magna-Extractor Hood!! Welcome aboard
