LG Motorsports GT2 Qualifying Laguna in car one lap
Hi Guys,
Here is a great video of our LG Motorsorts GT2 CORVETTE in qualifying at Laguna. .9 off the pole. The Porsche traffic probably didn't help.
This came just 2 weeks after we put the rebuilt car on the outside pole at Petit.
This was on Dunlop tires, 2007 vintage. Fast for a few but they fall off quickly.

Props to Tom Sutherland and Tomy Drissi for the great efforts in both races.
Enjoy
Thanks
Lou Gigliotti

Pretty impressive for a 500 hp car. at 2684 pounds (no driver, no fuel)
Also, on Dunlop tires. It would be faster with Michelins by probably 1.5 seconds.

2010 plans are up in the air.
We are working on a deal to sell and support the ALMS GT2 car.
Too much Politics in ALMS with GM and Michelin make it a foolish place for an independent to race.
And as a back up, we are building a couple of Grand Am GT Corvettes.
Two chassis are stripped and on the plate as we speak with roll cages to be installed starting next week.
So in summary, UP in the AIR.

Lou - think about it.
"It still has to make business sense."
You've been racing how many years? D*mnn You must know by now that racing make no sense at all. Least of all as a business.
btw - I've been thinking about the stopping by the Rolex this year. It sounds like I might have a reason to drive up to Daytona.

That is an EMCO sequential transaxle . It cost $60,000 and the axles cost another $8,000.
BUT you are in luck, because we have the street version that uses the stock diff and just replaces the complete transmission.
It has the same internal parts in it as the race car.
Price only $24,500 and it uses stock axles. It still shifts like the race car, just pull back to up shift and push forward to down shift
It is a real nice transmission

Thanks
