Default Hats off to Jason and Katech

Just wanted to let you guys know about a very pleasent experience with one of our vendors. I recently purchased an throttle body adapter wiring harness from Katech, installed it, and had a problem. Couldn't get the engine to run. Fortunately, I was able to take one off of another car in the shop and give it a try. It worked just fine, so I'm thinking the new harness that I just purchased was defective. I called Jason at Katech and he told me to return it and he would check it out. Well, got a call from Jason a few minutes ago, and he told me that the harness WAS BAD and that they were sending out a replacement immediately. WOW, none of the usual "we've never had that problem before" or "you're the first person to ever have a problem with our product" bull that you normally get from a vendor. Jason admitted there was a problem with the part and said he was replacing it. Simple. Why can't everyone be so straight forward?
Thank you Jason and Katech!

Good to hear! The good on this forum needs air time, too. We sometimes get way too much negative. Of course, Katech has been there, done that and know how delays can really mess up your plans. Good outfit!!

Bill, you're welcome. I'm glad it was an easy diagnosis.

Its nice to know there are still good business practices around. I am super lucky to have a shop like this close to me as well. Nice Job Jason.

you know it's a great point - I have always hated getting "wow we never heard of this problem before" line from customer service (no names). do a better reasearch on the stuff you sell instead of making excuses!

good to hear Katech does not do that.
