Default Hardbar Spherical Delrin pin top shock mounts back in stock!

I mentioned this new product a few months ago and it has been a tremendous seller. So much so, that it has been hard to keep in stock. We now have slightly revised it do that you can adjust the stack height with coilovers by flipping the mount. This is the first and only truly correct mount for "pin top" shocks. They are CNC billet DuPont Delrin and stainless steel and will allow your shocks to have correct damping without the rubber and still allows angular deflection of the shock as it goes through its' motion with virtually zero side load on the shock. Unlike some others, this is spherical on the top and bottom so it works with stock leaf spring and/or coil-over shocks. Tested on Penske, Bilstein, Sachs (OE Corvette), and even "P" brand shocks but will fit any shock with a 10mm upper pin top. Better performance, better shock life, totally quiet for street or track use. It works with all of the different frame thicknesses from 1984 to present, as well as Silverado pickup fronts and similar SUV's with pin top shocks. Legal for SCCA T1 cars as well. The price is for an entire car set. Now in stock for immediate delivery.
Also, here are dyno tests of the OE bushings versus these.

I have them on my 01z with Penske singles, work great thus far (only 1 weekend event and about 10 miles street driving on them). I need to get back in and check the rear nuts, but has worked great so far

Gary, how is that "other" suspension attachment point solution coming? Some time soon I hope?

My long term test mule has shown no loosening up yet. The other test vehicle is an 03 Silverado truck in New Hampshire with some of Randy Rippie's Bilsteins on it with these mounts. It weighs 5500 pounds at the local landfill scales. It will see duty all winter with all the salt, sand, ice, etc getting sprayed on it all winter. These are the ugliest pics I think I have posted on this forum (well, since the time I totaled my 2000 FRC at Loudon). We will see what they look like in the Spring, but I do not expect this stainless steel alloy to have much of an issue.

If the "test mule" you're referring to is my Z06, the mounts have been working well, Gary.

I think I've now done in the range of 100 autocross runs with them as well as a track weekend at NHMS.

What I like is that I seem to have a better turn-in and there's little/any increase in road noise coming into the cabin.

For what it's worth, my setup is nothing special with Bilstein sports and T1 bars, along with Hardbar spring ends. But I was really happy with it this year.

Yes, yuck, but don't you think this is a good test for something like this?

Nice solution. Pardon me for being blunt, but how are these compared to P brand's ? Look like both are priced equally.

So I have a 2003 Silverado as well, can I buy just "half" a set for it (I don't think the rears can utilize these) ?

I will let others answer the first question, but these work properly and have a very large surface area for less stress on the frame (remember the log jumping contest a couple of years ago?). The second is yes, I have modified the website to allow 1/2 orders for trucks.

Here is a video showing the angular travel and friction. The rear of a C5 or C6 is the worst case, with about 12-14 degrees of angle change. Since this video was made, changes were made to permit even more travel, and a lower profile, which is what is shipping now.

By the way.. I ordered these from Gary about a month ago right after they ran out of stock. I emailed Gary about the whereabouts of the parts I ordered and he gave me a personal phone call to apologize and sent me a free delrin shift **** for the wait... Definitely a stand up guy/company.

I have one question though Gary before I put these on this weekend; where does the thin ring go in respect to the shock mount? I'm sure it goes on the bottom however I wanna be sure..

Oh and I guess I need to know which side goes on the bottom the thick part or the thin part of the shock mount? I also assume its the thick part but want to be sure..

Yes, the fabric reinforced rubber washer goes on the bottom for some noise isolation. Torque to close all gaps and go 1/2 turn more. That's it!

Yes, call me and I will fill you in. I have learned the hard way not to to publish anything until it is on the website and in stock!
