Default Installed rear BBK now I have a problem every turn

this is my first time to the track with rear BBK(big brake kit) now the rear brakes are working like a hand brake in every corner (the rear snap out and i loose traction) , have any of you used a proportionate valve to adjust the bias of brakes (between front and rear) what brand do you recommend or if you have a part number please help me out.

thank you in advance

Have you considered getting a brake pad with less friction? That will decrease the bias as well.

is AH on? did you make any other changes? What brakes are you running in the front/rear? oh yeah, what car?

most brake kits out there will preserve f/r ratio (or at least keep it "close enough"). Also, I believe that C5 and C6 will dynamically adjust the bias as well.

Your car has a brake bias spring at the junction block by the master cylinder. If you aren't the original owner a previous owner may have changed the stock spring for one that applies more pressure to the rear brakes. DRM has sold a lot of the brake bias springs. It may be worth your while to see if you can get a stock spring and put it in. It isn't hard to change the spring.

Maybe this could be your problem (stoptech 6 pistons front and brembo 4 pistons rear) . This is not an engineered system, and probably not correct. The stoptech's front and rear are great, and just stoptech's front and stock rears are good.

Wait a minute,
The car stops great in a straight line. But during the cornering you have rear brakes applied and causing issues. The problem is the traction control is not working right. Turn it off and see if your problems go away.

Why are you braking in the corners? You mean trail braking?

Couple things to look for.

If your mixing brake kits, see what size pistons are in them, and compare that to stock. You can get a good idea of what the bias change is going to be.

Stock pads in the rear and a DTC70 pad up front is going to spell disaster when stopping cold. One thing you have to think about on a race pad is that they typically do not work when cold but a street pad does. Big no-no.

He meant trail braking. His problem occurs when entering a corner trail braking, the rear would lock and come around.

Sounds similar to the problem I had in my C4 (only worse). A simple compound change in the rear fixed it for me.

Best solution, put stock rear calipers back on.
