Think about how much F1 we used to get to watch "back in the good old days".

Merry Christmas!

I wonder if Varsha, Hobbs, et al, will be in the Speed studios in Charlotte broadcasting or on site at the track?

I get the impression that the crew is going to be the same as past years, except Peter Windsor won't be the "roving reporter" at the tracks. Don't know who, if anyone, will replace him. Of course, as soon as USF1 dies a slow, painful, grinding, death (go ahead, kick me now) he very well may be back.

Have a good one,
Mike

I just wish they'd catch on to the fact that most people with cable have either a DVR or Tivo, so even if they have to air shows at 3am people will watch it.

What does SPEED have to lose, since the races are in the middle of the night. I doubt F1 brings a ton of money in, but it has to be better than infomercial revenue.......or does it???

I really hate they stopped carrying DTM, BTCC, Austrailian V8 Supercars, and FIA GT racing though! Those were my off-season favorites!

Far as I know they are always in the studio with just Windsor flying around. I guess it is way cheaper.

What, you guys don't like watching a wrecker pull a truck out of the snow? The show "WRECKED" is exactly like racing, only completely different! So much excitement, NOT!

David

These past few week the DTM and Australian V8 race have been airing. Mostly Tuesdays I think.

Mondays at 1PM EST were reruns of this past years F1 races

Speed only seams to list them as "Off Road Races" in the listings.

GREAT, I guess after they skipped a few seasons I forgot to look this year. Programming the DVR right now!

*** I deleted my "touring" keyword because of the stupid Nationwide Touring series........

Found DTM and BTCC, no luck with V8 Supercars so far

F1, American LeMans, SCCA World Challenge, Grand Am (Rolex and Koni), DTM German Touring Car, Miller Cup, Indy, and now USF1. Anything but NASCAR!
