PS Z06C6R that is an AMAZING looking car. Is it actually a purchased factory car or just a replica...either way I am sure it turns TONS of heads driving around. Any more pictures or videos of it? Did you used to have/still have a C5R (just wondering because of your user name)? Any pictures/vids of that either? Ever track the car? Very Very cool.

It simulates the look of the GT1/GT2 C6.Rs from the rear, where there's a screen covering the a/c system. It also integrates the lower rear into one unit instead of having a gap where the exhaust pipes are. I have since spray-painted the screen black for a more mono-look.

Nice line up! Is the C4 next for a replica car? Those Corvette Challenge cars are some of the favorites!
I also have a Braille, in my C4 track car. It's held up and worked very well.

Thanks! Yes, I'm still playing with the idea. There was quite a lineup of 88-89 Challenge cars at last year's Carlisle, and one of the celebrity judges that knew me saw me eyeing the cars up and down, and told me "don't look back, they're old-tech!", but I'm still not convinced. Maybe the Andy Pilgrim car, maybe. Yup, that Braille battery helped shed many pounds, I had a real hard time pulling out the oversized Optima, and putting the little guy in with one hand was a joy!!

Wow that's very cool! Do you collect the miniatures too or just play with the full size versions? And I think it would be cool to have a replica challenge car too so you can show how far Corvette racing has come in 20 years.

You realize the Braille and Deka (also known as "Big Crank") are the same battery, manufactured at the same factory ( http://www.eastpenn-deka.com/ ) and that the Deka is half the price, right? I've had a Deka for seven months and it was $80 cheaper than the identical Braille. The only difference is literally the name on the battery case.

what model works best in our car and do they sell a mount?
