A6 tire size for wagon wheels
<I've searched the forums... so please dont trash me...>
I'm autocrossing a 97 and using the stock wagon wheels, they're surprising light compared to what is out there. I ran Kuhmo 710s last season but want to go hoosier A6s this season. What tire size should I go with? What are people running at nationals? I can't wait to see how I do in A Stock now that my car got moved out of SS.
Thanks!!

I've ran as big as 295/f 315/r on the C5 magnesiums, which are the same size. I'm not saying it's the hot ticket, but it worked. I'm sure it limited the contact patch, but that's all I had.

Melting Slicks
For a stock set up you can run 275/40x17 and 295/30x18 set up but you should have the suspension set properly. You need a minimum of -2 deg camber in the front and max out negative rear camber--balanced to the lower camber setting and your rake readjusted (easiest to adjust them at the shipping slots). Watch you inner tread and be sure to swap inside/outside for longer tire life. With the above set up and corner weighted you should start about 30/28 psi on cold tires and try to maintain a 35-38 hot temps at the end of the run. At least that works for me.

What do you use for toe? .25 toe in on the rear seems standard but I've been told everything from .125 in to as much as .300 out for the front.
Thanks again
