Leighton reese corvette at rolex daytona test
Leighton's Pratt & Miller chassis Corvette ran well this weekend at the Rolex Daytona test cutting laps in the 1:50's. I believe this is the same chassis they ran last year as a Pontiac GXP. I think they were a couple seconds faster this year with the Vette body.
Also, the Stevenson Camaro's were quick with the #57 at high 1:49's
and the #97 at around 1:50.
These are amazing lap times from cars that have less than 500 flywheel HP.
Motors in the Stevenson cars are LS6's with no porting, stock intake and stock cam.

The quick lap times may be also helped by driver Davey Jones who I heard was going to be the prime driver on the team. Nice to see Davey back racing again. Long time corvette owner/driver Mike Baughman put this deal together.

In addition, one of the drivers is "Mr Daytona" Scott Russell,
the former World Superbike Champ. Last year he drove a Daytona Prototype for Spirit of Daytona.
