Default Amazon sale on Aimco Premium Rotors FYI

From what I've read, should be same a Napa-Raybestos

$25.32 each for fronts and free shipping!

I can't quit tracking my car now. Too many rotors and rubber just sitting around

Just read this on the comments page. . .

Customer Review

Not manufactured by Aimco and rotor was defective, July 3, 2009
By Ananin Ami

The rotor is made by some no-name Chinese manufacturer called F.A.P. and it was obvious that the rotor was defective based on the first glance. Metal was machined unevenly and this would have caused severe brake "wobble" if the rotors were installed. Amazon was prompt to issue a return shipping label but they still haven't changed the item description. This is NOT an Aimco product! At least Aimco is a reliable company and you can contact them if you need assistance with your product (or to make a warranty claim...which is 2 yrs on Aimco rotors). Good luck contacting F.A.P. (if you can even find their website/contact info).

Pay a couple bucks extra and buy from a reputable manufacture here on Amazon.

Hmmm, maybe I just wasted $50, but it clearly says Aimco and Amazon has worked well for me over the years.

Amazon has always worked well for me too. Hopefully, the reviewer had some other issue or didn't really know what he was talking about. Post up your results, I need some more track rotors.

Thanks for all your work on this! If they turn out to be the real deal I'm placing an order as well.

They also have centric rotors....... are those any good? I know they own Stoptech now, but I've never used the Centric brand.

Helluva deal if they work, especially with the free shipping. That is where they become a tough deal to buy over the internet. Keep us updated.

I've been using those the last few years and I've been happy. I get them from racepages.com though, free shipping.
