No, just lots of schooling, perseverance and hard work, with a little bit of luck.

That is pretty cool, if I passed you on the highway I'd probably drive off the road thinking I saw the real thing on the road. When I bought my silver C5 in 2001 there was picture of a C5R mule in silver with no graphics from ? Pratt - that has always been a pipe dream of mine-- a streetable silver C5R clone sans graphics......Keep driving that thing

Thanks, S! Yes, I remember that silver mule from P&M, they have it on exhibit somewhere. Yours should be made easily to look like that w/ everything you've done w/ it!
And yes, got stopped by a NY state trooper a few Sundays ago on the Taconic during one of my banzai runs, asked if it was the real thing or a replica, and proceeded to tell me he has an '08 JSB C6Z(??!!!), but didn't sound like he was bs'ing; I wished him best of luck w/ it, and then he gave me his name and cell # saying ring him anytime if I had any issues w/ any other troopers in the area (still has the piece of paper in my wallet--good deal!!).

That ride was awesome to see in person at road atlanta last year. Was great to meet you at the Johnny O auction too (I had the white Johnny O hat). Must turn into a car show at gas stations. Glad to hear you drive it...that would be a blast to see on the highway.

Say, you going to Sebring?

Very nice looking car. I bet turns some heads where ever it goes.

The article says "never been on the track.". With the chance of ruining it I would probably keep it off the track too. Way too nice.

though I'd like to see you run it out on the track.

Kind like having a virgin playmate

Brian, was hoping to take it to Katech's Track Attack III, where guys like Andy P. could've wrung it out "like a virgin playmate", but the dates were moved to June and conflicted sort of with the 24 Hours of Le Mans which I had already booked to attend earlier on.

Jan Mags was also really hepped on running it at Petit last September but couldn't schedule, especially with the rains that came down.

George, I added the Ron Fellows stripes 2 years ago in honor of Ron, and when he saw them at Lime Rock during the GrandAm races in May '08, he was genuinely pleased and made the point of rubbing his palms on the stripes with satisfied grin!

I remember the silver car when it was at Sebring. Fehan and a couple of French guys went over the car pretty carefully.

Yup, that's the car, and doesn't that girl look a lot like Bill and Hillary's daughter?
