FS: '04 C5Z Track Ready w/ Trailer
I’ve hung on as long as I can, but continuing this hobby just ain’t in the cards right now. Up for sale is my beautiful street/track 2004 C5 Z06. Never wrecked, no damage and protected by a nice coat of Zaino (yes, I admit it.) This car drives better than stock on the street but has all the right stuff to make it an awesome track toy as well. It has absolutely no issues … just add fuel and head to pit out. Also for sale is my custom made pull-behind tire trailer making it the ultimate combo if you drive to and from. Here are the details.
2004 C-5 Z06, stock bullet-proof LS6, 50,000 miles. I’m the 2nd owner.
Reese *** Dyno Tune, 392 rwhp, 380 rwtq.
Callaway Honker CAI and ported throttlebody.
MTI Racing plug wires.
MTI Racing Stainless Works LT Headers and X-pipe.
Ron Davis Aluminum Racing Radiator with built-in Oil Cooler.
Brembo BBK, Brembo street pads (new,) Raybestos race pads (1/2 life.)
Stainless Brake Lines and Castrol SRF Brake Fluid.
DRM / Quantum Motorsports Brake Ducts.
Pfadt “Fatty” Competition Sway Bars.
MTI Racing short throw shifter.
Sparco Evo2 Race Seat on Pfadt mount and Sparco slider, and stock driver’s seat.
Brey-Kraus Harness Bar.
G-Force 3” 5-point Harnesses, driver and passenger sides.
Trailer Hitch w/ 1-7/8 receiver and light harness, professionally installed.
ARP Wheel Studs.
Street Tires are Kumho Ecsta’s, 295/30/18 with less than 1,000 miles mounted on stock 18x10.5 Speedline Wheels.
Track Tires are Toyo R888’s, 305/35/18, mounted on stock 18x10.5 Speedline wheels, powdercoated black. The way I drive, there’s 2 or 3 events left on these (your mileage may vary.)
With it comes one slick pull-behind tire trailer. 4x8 custom built last spring and used 1 season. There’s a place for everything you need and it pulls like a dream.
Diamond-plate bed with large front-mount equipment box, 5-drawer roller bearing tool box, and roller tongue jack. Everything I need for the weekend, tires, easy-up, chairs, table, cooler, jack, stands, air tank, and spare parts easily ride along. Over $1,300 to build.
Have title in hand. Asking $29,000 obo for the car/trailer package. Will sell the car separately, and then the trailer, but not the trailer first (sorry.) Best to contact me direct at bob@wheelercom.net or by phone at 770-386-7244. Thanks.

Nice setup you have there.
I almost paid that for my stock 03 C5Z with 29K two years ago (before the economy took a dump). With all those mods I think that's a fairly reasonable price.
Good luck with the sale. That will make someone a very nice street/track day car!

Jason, I used all the 18's to put together these two sets ... both are pristine. I may have a full set of 17's though. If anyone is interested in these let me know and I'll check.
On a much more important note, I'm saddened by Frank Gonzalez passing. I only knew him by reputation, but our community has lost a good man. God's speed to Frank.

Bob,
I'm sad to see this for sale. We were hoping to see you and the little lady at another event in the future.
This is a nice car guys, and you wont deal with a nicer guy.

I've been in this car and it is very well sorted and very fast. It has clearly been taken care of like one of the family. Someone's going to get a great car at a great bargain.
On a side note; I had not heard about Frank Gonzalez until checking in on this thread (came straight here from a link). I'm surprised and saddened. The motorsport world lost a gem of a person who gave much to the sport and those of us in it for a very long time. He will be missed.

Really nice work (and ideas) on that trailer!
