T1 bars, are they worth keeping?
Hey,
So I currently have T1 sway bars on my zo6 w/ the 02-up endlinks and phadt coilovers. Are these swaybars really worth anything on my car? Asking because I am thinking about selling off useless mods so I can finish up my Charger project.
Would I notice a big difference with a set of stock Z bars?
Thanks!

The Pfadt coilovers run a pretty soft spring rate similar to what my DRMs have -- when I added bigger bars (old style Pfadt comp bars) it made the car quite a it more fun to drive and easier to push on the on-ramps, etc, so I actually think the larger bars combined with the softer springs work pretty darn well. I do, however, run Toyo R888s -- even on the street.

Probably need a muffler change on a C6 unless they're the new style bar.

Hey, you asked for an opinion. :-)
The guys running no rear bar are probably ASP cars running a big front bar, and high rate leaf springs. The big springs and the fact the leafs tie things together side-to-side will help them there.
You'll probably get about $500 for the T1 bars, and it'll cost you about $200 to get C5Z bars from a dealer or Gene Culley @ GM Parts House. Is $300 worth going back to a bunch more body roll? Your call. I'm happy I put on the bigger bars, even on the street.
