Versus Back on DirecTV--IRL Race on right now
news to me, but apparently Versus came back to DirecTV a few days ago, and the IRL race is being played right now. My DVR picked it up for me, or I would have had no idea.
This is good news for IRL, World Challenge etc, as I've been on DirecTV for 16 years with no plans of leaving.

Direct TV must have came to an agreement with Comcast (owns VS). Direct TV was saying on the VS channel for some time now that Comcast was looking for way to much money to allow Direct TV to broadcast their channel. I guess all parties are somewhat happy for now.

Comcast/Sony/IBM will broadcast two hours/each day of the forthcoming Masters Golf event in 3D.Wonder if this had any influence with Direct TV reaching an agreement with Comcast?
Sure did miss the Indy car coverage, glad it's back.
After watching Sunday's Formula 1 parade... Indy car racing looks better.

the IRL race from this past weekend was actually pretty exciting, although it was really short. Quite a few good crashes, and several lead changes "on the track". I still like F1 much better, but if it's on a road course, I enjoy it!
