Great Job Ray and Company!

Autobahnracer's car looks awesome. I can't wait to see how the aero changes increase Don's already fast track times.

I like that C5 splitter. How hard is it to install and remove? Can I put it on for a NASA ST2 race and then easily take it off for a SCCA T1 race?

How much is it?

The splitter is designed to work with our nose, so you really need both. And you really wouldn't want to run with it removed, as it makes up the bottom of the nose.

The nose and splitter, in our street series (fiberglass / carbon composite) sells for $2225, plus paint and installation.

Thanks. I did actually mean the nose and splitter combo, so thank for answering that question.

How long and how much work is in removal and reinstallation of the stock nose piece for when I switch back and forth?

On another note: I got an e-mail this morning from the woman who does our accounting work here at the office. If was a link to your video and she wrote that she "thought I might be interested" in it. She told me she got the video from her sister in law who is married to Ray. Small world....

:

Once you have the carbon nose 'fitted' for the first time, it wouldn't be all that bad. Probably 4-6 hours to go from one to the other. You might also want to have a couple extra parts, like two sets of marker lights, radiator ducting, etc. But as long as you don't have both series in the same day, it would probably be manageable.

Cool video. How are those rear tie rod/bumpsteer kit coming along? I haven't asked in a while, but now I need them for sure as my tie rods are showing wear.
