Default Roebling Road, 17-18 April

A couple of pics from this past weekend from The Florida Crown Region PCA event at Roebling Road. My first time at RRR an it was a blast. Not a huge Corvette crowd with one C4, one C5Z, one C6 and two C6Zs. 05C6GAC was there and showed me a thing or two. Thanks Fred.

Beating up on Alan Johnson in his 1974 Ferrari 308 GT4. Alan's a great guy and I enjoyed running with (and away from) him.

I read on the NASA forum there was a multi-car incident around T8 (last turn before the straight)? Any details?

There was. A Porsche cabriolet got two wheels off coming out of T9 and tried to save it and went head first into the infield wall. There was a pretty big train coming into the turn and three other cars went off trying to avoid (they may have hit some oil or antifreeze). Another Porsche rear-ended another when the car in front stopped too fast. This was in the black group which is roughly equivalent to HPDE 4. They had open passing around the entire track.

Same incident or two separate?

That sounds like a nasty situation. Lucky no one was hurt.

Here's a video of my second session. I'm slow but I had fun.

Line looks good and consistant, as you get more speed you'll have to open op the turn in on 9, or you'll be off in the grass. I know I have the same problem on the early turn in there.

Some things you should read out loud before you post them.

I give me a break. I was traumatized by all those years I spent in the Navy.
