Default Tire shop near the Glen

Looks like I'm going to need to have some tires changed over while I'm at Watkins Glen May 3rd and 4th.
Can anyone recommend a place that can put some Hoosier slicks on my CCW's without damaging the rims?

Thanks,
Greg

There is a tire shop on Rte 14 between the villages of Watkins Glen and Montour Falls but I have never done any business with them.

Yes, that's the one. I had Hoosiers done by them with very good results. I'll be at the Glen too. Please look me up, DSOM/black Z06. See you at the track.

Agree, the old Goodyear shop. Tell them you are at the Glen and they will get you out the door quickly. I was happy when they flipped some tires for me and pressed in a front wheel bearing on my old SHO.

I had a CCW seal failre at the Glenn on my front left. There was a shop on the way into town form that main road. Leaving the Glenn its on the left side after you leave town, i will try and find the name.

It was also a Napa Repair if that helps.

10 miles form track.. maybe less?

They were great, spent a lot of time pulling my tire... helping me use fast dry / heat caulk and heat gunning in and remounting / spinning it.

All that was about $50 including the $20 caulk. I tipped the guy $20 for getting it all done from pull up to back on track over a LUNCH at HPDE!
