Anyone run HT-10 hawk pads?
Anyone run HT-10's from Hawk and are they ok for track day? I'm think about HT-10's front and HP Plus in back..

I've kept them on year round for track and street. I don't plan to use them again because I find them very difficult to modulate. Initial bite is very high which I also don't like. They handle track heat okay. There is some cracking and chunking on mine but I use them hard. I had a rain event with the compound and the bedded material came off so I had brake shudder. It cleaned up with street driving though. Also in the rain the dust turned to rock on the wheels. They have very good stopping power!

I have used them in the past and didnt like how strong they came on. They also do not modulate very well. If I were you I would try their new HT-14 or go into the DTC series.

I think I have some 14's in this stack of pads. Kind of fun trying different compounds out. I think I have HT14, DTC60/70, XP12 and those HT10 on there now. Picked up a stack from a guy getting out of the sport.

I used them a couple years ago on a 3600lb Mustang for my first DE season (13 events) and thought they worked real well. Ditto the comment on rain though...hard to get off.
